MOLE MAPPING & REMOVAL SERVICES
The Path to Better Skin Is Here!
Map My Mole
We are a Map My Mole provider, using a dermoscope we take images of your moles and a detailed description then send the information to a UK consultant dermatologist.
You will receive a detailed report for each mole within 24-48 hours.
TREATMENT COST
£70 for 1 mole
£110 for up to 3 moles
Allow 45 mins for consultation
How are the images taken?
We will take images of your mole or skin lesion using a specialist, medical grade camera called a ‘dermoscope’. It uses light and magnification to help a dermatologit see how your skin looks in more detail than you would be able to see with the naked eye or normal camera. The detailed images will make it easier to spot abnormalities that may require further investigation or diagnostic tests.
What will you do with the images?
Once we’ve taken images of your mole, we will send them to Map My Mole for review. Map My Mole is a third party service provider we use to obtain an indicative opinion from a consultant dermatologist regarding your mole or skin lesion. The consultant will review the images and prepare a report for us, so that we can advise you on your next steps.
What information will you share with Map My Mole?
We need to send some your personal information, including your name, contact details and some medical information (including the images we take of your mole) to Map My Mole when we submit the images for review. You can find Map My Mole’s privacy policy on their website at http://www.mapmymole.com/, or we can email you a link to it.
When will I get the results?
Images are usually reviewed within 48 hours after we submit them for review, but it may take longer than that. We can request that a copy of the report will be sent to you as soon as it’s ready, otherwise it will be sent to Escape Beauty Retreat LTD, and we will contact you to discuss the report with you once we have received it.
Will Map My Mole be able to diagnose cancer from the images?
No. It’s important that you understand that it is not possible to diagnose any cancer from images, and a formal diagnosis requires a biopsy (sample removed under anaesthetic) and histological assessment. However, the consultant’s report can help us identify a suspicious mole that might need further investigation such as a biopsy.
If you are concerned about your mole or skin lesion, you should speak to your GP or another medical professional as soon as possible so that they can carry out further tests if needed.
Who is responsible for my care?
Map My Mole is providing the services to Escape Beauty Retreat LTD, and there is no direct legal relationship between you and Map My Mole. Escape Beauty Retreat LTD will be responsbile for any reports, recommendations, and/or advice we provide, including after we’ve received the consultant’s report.
CryoPen & Advanced Electrolysis Lesion Removal
FROM £60 per lesion – x6 smaller lesions £200
At Escape Beauty Retreat, we offer both CryoPen and Advanced Electrolysis for the removal of suitable benign skin lesions.
During your consultation, your therapist will assess the area and recommend the most appropriate treatment method based on the type, size, location and characteristics of the lesion.
CryoPen Lesion Removal
CryoPen uses precise, targeted freezing technology to treat suitable superficial skin lesions. The treatment works by applying controlled cold energy directly to the area being treated, while minimising impact on the surrounding skin.
CryoPen may be suitable for certain benign lesions, including some skin tags, seborrhoeic keratoses, milia and other superficial lesions.
Following treatment, the area may become red, darken, blister or form a small scab as the skin naturally heals and the treated tissue is shed.
Advanced Electrolysis Lesion Removal
Advanced Electrolysis uses a fine probe and controlled electrical energy to precisely treat suitable benign skin lesions.
This technique allows highly targeted treatment and may be suitable for certain small, localised lesions, including some skin tags, milia and other superficial skin imperfections.
The treatment is carefully tailored to the individual lesion and the surrounding skin.
Which treatment is right for me?
Both CryoPen and Advanced Electrolysis can be effective options for suitable benign lesions. The most appropriate treatment will depend on the individual lesion and its location.
A consultation is required before treatment so that we can assess the area and determine whether it is suitable for cosmetic treatment.
Please note: We do not diagnose skin lesions. Any lesion that is new, changing in appearance, bleeding, itching, painful or otherwise suspicious should be assessed by a medical professional before cosmetic treatment is considered. We reserve the right to decline treatment if a lesion is not considered suitable for cosmetic removal.
